Here we go!

So, Elizabeth loved the in-car DVD we got for her. She said "Look mummy, Charley Bear on daddy's pooter!"

When each episode ended she would say "all finished, want more Charley Bear." She also got to watch "Grandpa in my Pocket", "Timmy Time" and "Dinosaurs".

She watched them for 2 hours, then fell asleep for about 2 hours, then watched them for the rest of the journey. We had pretty much no complaints from her at all!

Rebecca slept for most of the journey, but then had so much trapped wind when we got to my parents, that she was a little unhappy for a while until she had got rid of it all.

The journey took us 9 hours in total. It wasn't the nicest drive given the high winds. But we got there in the end.

We were welcomed by my parents, sisters, brother in law and nephew (aka, mum, dad, Janis, Katie, Thomas and Robert). Elizabeth and Robert spent about an hour chasing each other round the sitting room. They had great fun!
