Babysitting Circle reunion

Another packed day at work. Having to interview for two days has left lots of other jobs outstanding.

Went straight from work to a school governors' meeting and then off to a babysitting circle reunion.

When the boys were tiny, a group of friends got organised and baby sat for each other. Our currency was tap washers (one washer for one hour of babysitting, two per hour after midnight). The circle worked brilliantly and we got to know each other and our respective offspring quite well. It also helped to preserve our sanities to escape from our little darlings occasionally for night out.

We managed to meet up again after about a 10 year gap (thanks to the wonders of Facebook). Lots of the 'babies' are now at university or working and so no longer need babysitting. A great evening catching up and reminiscing.
