Daybreak on the battlefield

On my way to the farm to buy eggs this morning, I drove past the fields where the Battle of Ramillies was fought. I used to think this view was bleak. Now I've come to love it and the ghosts that walk the landscape.

My Blipfoto membership expires in 3 days and I'm not sure I'll be able to renew it. As irregular as I've become about posting my pictures here (and even lazier about commenting) I've grown rather fond of this place and of the friends I've made here.
