Back down to earth

There's nothing like coming back down to earth with a crash landing.

Yesterday was child free, quiet and relaxing. I felt like I was on another planet.

Today involved a trip to a municipal 'fun' pool, filled to the roof with screaming children, oddballs in the jacuzzi and the stench of urinated in chlorine.

Followed by a five year old boys birthday party (there was fizz so this was actually the highlight of the day).

Followed by nephews for tea and a sleepover, Kung fu fighting, pretending to be super hero cats and dogs and general riotous behaviour.
