Tapestry removal

The whole family was put into work. It took the whole day to rip of old tapestry. Working on the last wall we had to use headlamps to provide light cause there was a storm of the century that cut of 200 000 houses/apartments from electricity. Some of them are still out of juice since 3 days now.

We also had a plan to paint some staircases with white paint but due to missing light we had to change plans. Luckily we have two fireplaces upstairs so we could cook and heat up the house. Running water we did not have. So the Boxing day was all about back to the basics and welcome to the country side.
