Primroses in bloom

Only the 28th December but spotted the first wild primroses (primula vulgaris) in bloom today in the base of a hedgerow at our place in Aberdeenshire. Found seven plants in bloom on a site with a nice sunny aspect and I guess with temperatures up to 14C last week they've gone for an early start. It wasn't 14C today though - heavy rain shower and driving wind when I took this.
