Soup in a Storm

Having boiled the turkey bones to make stock, I began soup making today. Leeks, onions and sweet potato here, carrots and parsnips were added after this shot.

A day for staying in on two counts :

1. My mega head cold has got worse. Very sore throat, temperature rising.

2. There is a 70+mph storm raging outside. Bridges closed again, trees and power lines down.
