Exhausted

Bullwinkle (my cat) has always been an exceptionally social little guy -- when he hears me talk on the phone, he jumps up right away and puts his head right near the mouthpiece so he can be part of the conversation.

We had a party last night. Jezebel (his shy sister) declined to join the festivities. Bullwinkle was the star of the party, charming each and every guest with his sociability. But all that effort took a toll on him -- he's still recovering. (And so am I!)
