Big Enough?

This was our Christmas pressie from MiL and FiL. Apparently, since he picked it up, FiL has been worrying about whether it is big enough? The Wonderspouse informs me that it weighed over 16lbs. I've put the metre stick (showing the inches side) next to it, so you can get some idea of scale!!

Today we stayed at home, chilling out, and I caught up with a few bits and pieces. It was nice to stay at home after a couple of days travelling and socialising. Today it was just us, the cats, the rodents, and the aroma of roasting beef pervading the house!

I've also been doing a bit of research and minimal shopping (with Christmas money) on the internet. I'm planning some home improvements (not for us, but for the ratties), and have ordered a few bits and pieces to enable me to do what I want to do. I'll keep you posted - but I can see that the start of 2012 might well involve some DIY type activity for me. Fortunately, I like that sort of thing!

I'm also, of course, thinking of the new arrivals. I've been in touch with one of my rat breeder friends and arranged to collect George and Henry on Friday! Very exciting!

This evening, of course, we had beef for supper!

And yes, there was enough for second helpings!!!!
