New lens! And it's picked up Elgar's blue sheen perfectly - blackbirds are certainly not black, they are all the colours of the rainbow in certain lights, no, not iridescent like a magpie, it's hard to explain, look at a male blackbird closely next time, you will see :)

Little Larry on the other hand is very confused, he's not sure if he's a robin...

This afternoon he sang like a chaffinch & then a chiff chaff... robins mimicing other birds...er, is this normal? Possibly not, but Larry I don't think knows what he is! ;-)
