in the woods

We went to the woods this afternoon to blow a few cobwebs away and to run off some unspent energy that the mini pinks had stored up over Christmas. We went to the Highwoods Country Park in Colchester which has a new(ish) adventure play area. It was very suited to small boys that like climbing things and need to challenge themselves a bit. Miss Pink enjoyed looking for gruffalos and waving a stick around! She fell over a couple of times and on one occasion a friendly dog came to her rescue, but she wasn't keen which made her cry even harder. I think she got over it though as she was happy to stroke the next friendly doggy that came our way! We finished off the afternoon with tea at pizza hut.
