Sharplin Falls

Mt Somers is in the foothill ranges of the Southern Alps, in inland mid-Canterbury. The Mt Somers Track is a circuit around the mountain, normally a one to two day tramp. The Pinnacles Hut and the Woolshed Creek Hut provide accommodation for trampers along the way.

We were on the Pinnacles Hut part of the track today, and took a short deviation to see the very pretty Sharplin Falls.
