Revealing Spirit Light

Michael and I took a trip out to Colorado, and on the way home we stopped in South Dakota to see the Black Hills and the Lakota Indian's CrazyHorse Memorial.

The mountain carved memorial has a fascinating history behind it, and I realized that I preferred to learn about our American Indians more than I wanted to hear about Mount Rushmore. It seems that the old school books skipped right over this part of the story and it's taken me 43 years to correct it.
