Physalis

The Great post Boxing day walk.

I met up with Sis Trabroun for some time out. The Water of Leith was our route, but starting from Leith and walking south, the detours had us in a spin with the flood defence system closing the path in several areas. We gave up and beat a retreat into The Botanic Gardens.

The grey squirrels were positively showing off. (Pity I didn't have a gun with me).

The Physalis were bonny.

The gardens well winteryish.

The miles tramped were fun, (even if my back may not agree tomorrow).

The company was wonderful.

Why? Because it was!
