Angels

Ok, strictly speaking its one angel and one Christmas robin.

There is always a bit of a battle to get the Christmas tree topper on. I always go for this slightly grim looking angel that my daughter made when she was in reception, many years ago.

Wife and daughter go for another angel that is also hand made by my daughter but an even older vintage. This results in the pre- Christmas tradition of surreptitious swapping of angels until either someone gets bored or falls head first into the tree, upsetting both decorations and she who planned the decorations..

neither of these options are desirable and lead to the next Christmas tradition of two days of arguing and annoyance........
