Panto Fun in Glasgow

Today was the annual panto trip to Glasgow and 1st in 3 years that it wasn't blowing a blizzard. I went in the train with Cameron and his friend Magnus, they were bouncing of the ceiling with excitement! The other contingent went by car, husband, daughter and mother. Met up with them for our lunch at Weatherspoons, which is round the corner from the King's Theatre.

Once again the Panto, Sleeping Beauty was hilarious. Karen Dunbar had the starring role, she was Nanny. Clare Grogan who was in a pop group in the 80s called Altered Images, and in the film Gregory's Girl was a wicked fairy. Afterwards we wandered along to George Square to see the Christmas lights and also to let the boys have a turn at the fair. It was a great atmosphere, but everything was really expensive. Two Pound for 1 slide down a Helter Skelter!

This photo was taken with me bent in half as I have been told off twice in the Kings for taking pictures, even although I don't use flash. Didn't get caught this time thankfully.
