A Tribute to Life.

Koffee for Kiva

Reflection.

Sometimes if you really take attention, life gives you plenty opportunity to reflect.
We came yesterday home from our Christmas trip to Holland.
From the moment we flew out from Brussels until early this morning, I needed to make up my mind.

At the airport of Brussels I needed to accept, because of making confusing with my luggage, paying an extra fee of 100 euro.
Even if there was still place in my hand luggage.

100 euro...if you work hard, and I do, you know that it is bloody a lot of money.
Today 100 euro is nothing?you go to the supermarket?and oepsssssss?they are gone?
But, still it is a lot of money, you don't throw them away...
I felt terrible, a feeling of guilty was leaving me behind.
During the whole flight, I thought about what I could have done with that money..if...

In my daily life, if 100 euro is missing, I'm one of those lucky people who do not really feel that..,
I anyway have food to eat,
a roof to protect myself and my family,
clothes which cover me from cold, wind and rain.
so why should I feel so ashamed?
If I wish to satisfied my material needing... even then, without the 100 euro I just lost, I can go and buy...

I thought about how many people with that money I could have made happy these Christmas day's....
How many people with 100 euro could have a change in life...
Just 100 euro....those 100 euro..

I asked myself, but why didn't you give away these 100 euro before loosing them?
Well, that makes you even feel worse.
We do not trust...that's what we tell our self..
Too busy to think about needing of people far away...
One day, I will do this, do that, but what about today? I asked myself, what about the 100 euro, you could have given away?

Reflection...

One day, a long time ago, I found these words ,

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realize it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a duty, complete it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfill it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is luck, make it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

This words are written by Mother Theresa, and for me the meaning is that, if you accept an reality either good or bad, you can transform it into a challenge, what makes it a reason to fight for.

From that point of view, everything is changeable and you use the bad experience, changing it into something good, even better... this without this negative experience, never would have happened, so you make it up,you make it, worthy to let have it happen?!!!!

Did I explain myself?

So now coming back to my 100 euro....

I gone use them to reproduce them self without an ending, making a social circle to benefits those who have a needing.
From 0 to 100 euro, from 100 to 1000 euro, building up.
