Family time

Today was a special day in the family calendar. Eldest granddaughter Laurel and I always meet up for the Sheffield United game before the New Year. As we lost our mum/daughter some years ago, our meetings are especially important and enjoyable. Today was no exception and after a lunch at the Chinese we went to the game and rejoiced in a 2-1 victory. I had intended to take an interesting crowd shot or a view of the action but got carried away by the moment and forgot all about it. So I will have had to make do with a less interesting photo of our meal. It was good too that one of my other granddaughters could make it with her dad.
