Shop and Drop

What is it about 27th December that makes people want to shop? Weren't we all spoiled rotten just two days ago? Well, if you can't beat them, join them! We seemed to beat everyone INTO Newcastle, though, by heading in at 8.30am.

Once home, our friends, Patrick and Lisa dropped in with their little girl, Eva. She marched around the place very confidently, knowing exactly what she wanted: "drums!" "pen!" (she was so cute, we didn't mind her drawing on the carpet) and "cat!" Alice fluffed up and doubled in size, retreating under the bed for the duration, while Puddle accepted treats from Eva's hand. "Puddle very nice!"

Time for a chill with Mantracker and wine, I think...and maybe a foot rub after all that shopping :-)
