Oi zoi oi

What a day........Great to be back jn the mountains with my bears but havnt stopped .... Anaesthetic for an injured dog at lunch and spent most of the day frantically packing everything we might need for a field anesthetic on a sick bear in a province near the Lao border 9 hrs drive away. leaving at 2am. Yay have got 3 hrs to sleep and hey did I mention have just come back from a wedding party in our village for one of our team? Rice wine shots (everyone wants to drink with a Long Nose) then manic dancing ... Now am too wired to try and sleep .....

So today's blip photo a very bad image of Muoi - lovely but also slightly crazy (in a nice way) woman who works in the national park canteen where we eat lunch. She's carrying home leftovers using a shoulder pole with a heavy bucket at each end - doing that peculiar shuffle Vietnamese women do to carry huge loads.
