View from the Braes

Up early to prepare meal for 9 for Thursday (21 -altogether 2 groups of 9 and 3 vegetarians). Got to the supermarket to get fresh veg for the sauce to go with the lamb and ingredients for the pudding to find they didn't open today till 9. So drove up the Braes to get an early morning view.

Finished the sauce for the meal, then final packing, leaving tomorrow for a week up north at Achnasheen.

Hoping for suitable weather for getting up some hills, but the forecast for North West Highlands tomorrow is for gale force winds, would be happy to settle for low level walks and a bit of photography and birdwatching. Hope to be able to blip using the Blipfoto app.
