Boxing Day light over Clapham Common

So today is Boxing Day and I woke up with a view over Clapham Common. For a few minutes the sun shone through the clouds to light the trees and the houses across the park, then it turned to dull and damp again. Last night, at 1 am there was a bird singing his heart out in the tree across the road...it went on for ages...I guess it was very mild and very light by the road...maybe he got confused. Then as I was about to get into the house, a fox appeared, looked at me, cross the road, made his way into the park, looked back and crossed towards the pavement again. He was very beautiful! London wildlife!
