Driftwood at Machir

There is not much to be said about a piece of driftwood sticking out of the sand, but I liked it enough to stop.

The picture was taken a few years ago, on Machir Bay - another spectacular (if more exposed) Hebridean beach just along the road from the island's newest distillery at Kilchoman.
