It's in here somewhere

Scorcher of a day on the West Coast, it got so hot that we went to the beach 3 times to keep cool, we done a spot of fishing and played with Kea in the water. At one point we had both taken our eyes off her and when we spotted her she was swimming across the Taramakau because there was a dad with 3 kids that she thought looked better fun to play with. I am not sure how wide the river mouth is but I would guess 200 metres.

This photograph shows Kea with her head under the water and her eyes open, she has taken to looking for white stones and bringing them back for some reason, wonder if I can train her to get greenstone.

Just finished planting some plants and working on the drive now that it is a bit cooler.

Time for a small refreshment and a good book.
