Auchtercrag House

Otherwise known as the house whose name I have been struggling to remember all afternoon/evening! Didn't do much today other than a wee walk - Jem's sister had a baby boy this morning. A long wait over, but we'll not see them for a few days as Jem has a horrible cold!

My third nephew - off to see the other two at Haddo (we got married there :) ) tomorrow morning.

Interestingly, Jem used to come to this house when she was in Primary School - they painted it (i.e. painted pictures of it) as part of their art class - but in those days, less than 20 years ago, it was a ruin!

And yes, that is an old Alfa Romeo Spider in the car park. I'd rather have that than a flat in the house!
