In the spirit of Independence Day for our Friends south of the Border - here is some living American-Canadian History:

In 1805 12 Families set out from Pennsylvania...(see LINK for details) and settled here in Southern Ontario in what is now Uxbridge.

For anyone on the other side of the POND (not border) 1805 IS ancient history around here. There just are not that many buildings or settlements of this vintage.
