Mater

was a huge success in our house over Christmas, so I thought he deserved his very own blip!

Today we visited a remarkable lady who used to help look after O after school until we finished work. I say 'used to' as a couple of months ago when she was out walking in the Foret de Soignes she fell and broke her knee and her nose. She somehow managed to walk back home before going to hospital where she was operated on. It was lovely to see her today and meet her sons who have flown over to spend Christmas with her. She really is quite amazing as amongst her many talents she can speak five languages fluently. She is still on crutches but the doctors have been amazed by her recovery and she hopes to be back at work in January.
