Boxing Day

Had a great day today - always prefer Boxing Day to Christmas Day as the pressure is off. We went to Bristol Zoo, which is lovely on Boxing Day as there are never many people there - probably travelling or hitting the Christmas sales (which I can't believe have started on Boxing Day but don't get me started on that...).

Cold turkey and bubble and squeak for tea - although Jack opted for a jam sandwich with sausages on the side - am not convinced but each to their own.

Think I'm going to brave the sales tomorrow as there are a few things I need and I it's good to stock up on half price toiletries in Boots.

Am off to have a glass of wine and a mince pie - the diet starts on 1 January!
