Harbour Lights
A busy day after the sedentary day yesterday. In the afternoon I was in Stonehaven just as it was getting dark. We managed a walk around the harbour area. It would have been very tempting to drop in at one of the pubs overlooking the harbour. It was not cold, but very windy, and so it would have been all too easy to be blown inside.
Unusually for Stonehaven it was high tide. Based on my experience Stonehaven normally only has low tide. It was nice to see the harbour full of sea instead of full of sand. There was little activity in the water, though the pubs were busy.
As I was driving I had to abandon the idea of the pub, head back to Aberdeen, and post this photograph on Blip. So I am a lot earlier than the last couple of days.
