Architectural Jelly Banquet
This fab event was held at University College London this evening, curated by Bompass & Parr "jellymongers".
Leading architects exhibit their designs in jelly form on behalf of an architectural charity.
None of what you see is edible as it's largely gelatin in order to hold the shape, so there is little flavour. There were lovely little fruit packed jelly shots around to eat to make up for it. The big jelly in the middle in by Iain McCaig and called The Orangelly. The shell like ones in the foreground Tonkin Liu's Fresh Flower Jelly. Scattered around were other designs by kids from St George the Martyr School, Camden.
The pictures I saw of this in advance made it look really unpromising as an event but I'm glad I went, also bumping into Sian who lives just down the road and had been at a 4th of July party.
