Chocolate treats

I know many of you have asked how my shift went yesterday so just a quick update. I was kept going the whole time (as was my colleague) with a labouring woman each. However neither of us managed to get the delivery and so both ladies were passed to the night shift who successfully achieved 2 Christmas babies for the birth unit. Well done girls!
I then headed over to one of my colleagues houses to share Christmas dinner and rather a lot a couple of glasses of bubbly with her and her family, followed by some party games! Tonight will be a much quieter affair with some pork pie and pickles and a couple of these little beauties later. And, I think an early night is in order :-)
