Chewing her way out!

Nimbus was obviously sick of waiting for me to take her photo, so started eating the pallet instead! We don't have many hedges in Orkney, mostly wire fences. To give the ponies somewhere to hide from the wind, I've put some pallets along the fence. Must be tastier than they look!

Her speckled muzzle is inherited from her Appaloosa father. It's much more noticeable in the summer, as are all the little white spots of hairs on her neck and back. She's also inherited stripey hooves - very snazzy!
