Dreaming in Blues

By SapphireDreamer

Hello Boys and Girls, I'm BAAAAAACK!!!

Finally updated! Quite a few changes in my life recently.

It's only 43 backblips. :P Starting here.

If you don't have the time/opportunity/desire to check the backblips and see what all has changed, here's the short version:

- Didn't get the job to teach that i applied for.
- Got accepted to work on research project.
- New roommate.
- Most of friends graduated/left for the summer.
- So much thesis work it's insane.
- New bike.
- Story updates.

If you have the time/opportunity/desire...feel free to check my backblips. And for those of you who were checking as I updated...GOLD STARS!

Well, it took me all day, but I did it.

And I'll catch up on commenting soon. This weekend, I hope.
Depends how much time I spend on the Microsoft project and my thesis.

I'll very likely catch up on commenting. :D

Story updates...for those of you who care and might have missed something...

Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10, Part 11, Part 12

Reminder that this is a story, not drawn from my life or anyone I know. This is entirely a work of fiction. Any likeness to actual events or people is entirely coincidental and completely possible.

Where we left off...

"You coming?"
I grinned. "You know it."

He stood up and held out his hand.
I grabbed it and he pulled me to my feet.
I began walking towards the door we had come out of, but he shook his head. So instead, I swiped my jacket on the way past and followed him around to the front of the club, still holding hands.

Once to the front, he nodded at the bouncer and the bouncer stepped aside. The same bouncer that had given me a hard time earlier about wanting to bring a camera in. Jerk made me take it back to my car. So I stuck my tongue out at him as we passed. The big guy began grinning. Heh. Seems I had charm afterall.
Once inside, things went crazy.
