Boxing Day Sales

Me, Mum and Jo did the Boxing Day sales today. It was mayhem! We were clever though. We got there early, got parking, had breakfast and browsed a few shops. When the department stores opened we were in amongst the crowd.

It was a first for me, and probably a last. We got what we wanted though and beat a hasty retreat.

The rest of the day was pretty laid back. It is hot here, very hot. I cooked a roast rack of lamb on in the woodfired stove with all the roast veges.

Nice end to a relaxed day.
