Boxing Day sun tan

Boxing Day in Western Australia is a time to recover from the Christmas Day festivities and the hectic time of the few weeks before.

Today is a perfect day to "hit" the beach.

The two " oldies" have picked one of the isolated spots on Cottesloe Beach.

They spend their time "chatting" sun baking and every now and then taking a "dip" in the Indian Ocean.

I had my early morning swim at 6.30 am, followed by my customary tea and toast with some close friends.

We were all a bit seedy and the swim cleared some cobwebs from the day before.
