Guess and Check
Called CNS.
Talked to a lady who was mumbling quietly the entire time.
I ended up guessing most of what she was trying to say.
Turns out I had the CD the whole time but that the computer won't boot from it.
Asked her how and she told me.
It finally started wiping! YAY!
Then at 33 minutes left...it stopped.
It asked for the product key.
Normal product keys seem to need 25 digits.
The key that came with my disc? 23.
Called CNS again.
The guy told me I had two options: call Microsoft where a potentially painful conversation awaited me.
Or i could try and guess the last two digits.
I decided to guess.
556 tries later (and a lot fewer than i expected) i figured it out.
Hooray for trial and error!
Other potential blips:
*Not Really A Berry Tree
*Where should we put the children's table? How about next to the candy?
Story update:
Reminder that this is a story, not drawn from my life or anyone I know. This is entirely a work of fiction. Any likeness to actual events or people is entirely coincidental and completely possible.
Where we left off...
His next line surprised me a bit.
"Except to enjoy the rain."
I began to laugh. "You're amazing."
It was his turn to blush.
I threw my arms out and began spinning.
I felt him grab my hand and pull me up short.
I was still laughing. He grinned. Then looked confused. And looked down.
"Wow. Squishy shoes are fun."
I lost it. He looked so happily confused that I just had to laugh. We both ended up sitting on the ground laughing.
I looked over and our eyes met again. Things started to get fuzzy...
