The rock

This blip was taken from the rocky outcrop at the point where the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches meet. Amy and I have been meaning to have an explore round here all week but have only just managed it today even though it is literally a stones throw from our hotel.

Anyways Xmas eve in Rio means that all of the shops and restaurants shut early. It also means that everyone heads down to the beach and the beaches were busier today than we've ever see them. We had to walk along the sidewalk as it would have been impossible to try and walk along the sand.
