Amsterdam...passage to the Begijnhof....

For many centuries, not far from the hustle and bustle of everyday in Amsterdam,
lies the Begijnhof and its Chapel, a center for prayer and silence.

It could be difficult to find the gate, but the moment you walk through it, you will experience another world.

I often like to go in there when I'm in that area, not for praying but for the beautiful garden and the historic buildings, and for 'the silence'.
