Lunch at Nada's

Two frinds went to with me to Nada's house for lunch. Even though she is slowly recovering from brain surgery, she refused to let us bring food. She is the most amazing cook. Being a Syrian vegetarian, she made delicious tabouli, humus, mhammara, and a lovely stew of mushrooms and artichoke hearts. She is still weak and often dizzy, but managed to make us feel most special. We vowed to go back soon.
