Testing out my new lens

My husband gave me a new lens for Christmas, a 14 mm. Rokina. I wanted to test it out today, so we drove down the local shipyard, where one can, amongst other things, see this old "braggi". Sorry, don't know the English word for it, but those buildings were used during the second world war. During the war, Iceland was occupied, first by the British, and then the American military, and the soldiers lived in buildings like this one.

Otherwise, the day was mostly used for resting. I have been working a lot in December and am a bit exhausted.
