(Blinding) Light of the World

I was going to write a reflective, thoughtful account of Christmas and the light of the world shining in the darkness. But it was proving rather difficult while listening to the Vice Verses album by Switchfoot (especially when I kept getting up to dance along).

And then I thought, sometimes we take ourselves too seriously and try to fit Christ into a neat, well-written thought; but isn't what He really wants for us is to get up, dance, sing, and worship Him with everything that we are?

Blinding light, you're the vision that gives me sight.
