Rows and Rows and Rows...
Early meeting.
Meeting with a committee member to go over my thesis source list.
She seems really excited to work on the project and gave me some good critiques.
After giving me a great deal of things to think about and work into my thesis, she mentioned the teaching job that I didn't get.
She was also on the committee that decided that.
She mentioned that everyone at the meeting wanted me in the classroom and that my teaching abilities were never up for question.
My letter of recommendation (from the professor I interned with) was absolutely stellar.
She also passed on the information that for the class I applied to teach, the decision came down to one thing:
GPA.
Like my psych professor, she mentioned that I might have an opportunity to teach in the fall but that nothing was official yet.
Again, I'm okay.
I'll have other options.
Found out today that I was accepted onto the coding project coming up this summer.
Paid work and an opportunity to publish!
Yes, PLEASE!
See?
I told you it would work out.
Library for a few books. Unedited shot.

Story update:
Reminder that this is a story, not drawn from my life or anyone I know. This is entirely a work of fiction. Any likeness to actual events or people is entirely coincidental and completely possible.
"So then what are you doing out in the rain?"
It was so much easier to talk to him if I didn't look into his eyes. That's where the swooning trap had been laid.
I shrugged. "It feels good. Too hot inside."
"But now you're soaked."
"And?"
He paused. Thinking, I assumed. I took the risk of possible eye contact and glanced at his face. He seemed to be looking to the right at some spot far away that nobody but himself could see.
All of a sudden, he turned back and our eyes met.
His gorgeous green eyes. The depth of color always amazed me...
I woke up lying on the ground.
