Mausoleum of Shah Rukn-e-Alam

The photo tour started early morning when we left for Multan, the city of Saints. We reached there around 1:30 and after keeping our things at the hotel, we went to see Mausoleums. This is one of them. It is interesting to observe that people here follow a kind of Islam which is completely alien for me. Since birth, I have been made to worship a single God. They do too, but through these Saints and for that reason they come to these shrines/Mausoleums to pray. A very strange experience for me.

Later in the evening we went to see a local man-made lake and then called it a day early. The hotel itself was not bad, but as it was situated on a busy road, it was hard to sleep all night.
