Dr Seuss Christmas Tree

We went hunting for our Christmas tree yesterday on the property. The spot we had for it this year was going to be a challenge. For many reasons this alcove in the living room was it! We brought home a 9'8" tree. The space measures 7'. So we chopped off 2' outside and thought we would trim the top when we had it in place. When lo and behold the tree had naturally provided with a solution!! We couldn't believe that the "small curve" we had seen in the wild curved naturally around the alcove. So there it stands. A lot of hilarity as you can imagine.

We usually set out to find ourselves a Charlie Brown tree. This year we have a Dr Seuss tree!!
