A Stand-in Cousin

Had Christmas on my wifes side at 6 p.m., after a short Christmas eve service at my church. My daughter and her husband were the hosts. We got there in time to see our Detroit Lions win before eating. WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS!! WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS!! It doesn't take much to get us excited around here.

My daughters house was decorated in a very festive holidayee way. Red and white and green were everywhere. We even got to watch The Sound of Music on TV. "Edelweiss...Edelweiss...every morning you greet me...

A new huge Santa picture was hanging over the fireplace. OR WAS IT SANTA? She claimed she got it at Hobby Lobby for 50% off. 80 dollars marked down to 40 dollars. We wondered why it was so cheap for being in such a nice frame. Upon closer inspection it is not Saint Nickolas at all. It is his red neck cousin from the South Pole. He is trying to make some cash on the side by posing as his up-north cousin. His name is Saint Tim-o-las. With his dastardly deeds...I don't even see how they can call him a saint.
