Christmas Hollywood style

One full day in LA and what did we do? Headed for Hollywood for course! Couldn't quite bring ourselves to do a bus tour of the 'stars' houses but we had a good wander around, saw The sign (in the background here) and the Walk of Stars. We ate a In-N-Out burger animal style and saw two famous skate spots.. Some how we negotiated the LA bus system (there isn't really one) -when even the drivers didn't know where they we going- we made it up to the Griffith Park Observatory to get the best view over LA. It was a very, very smoggy view, people really drive their big cars a lot there.

We spotted Scott Bakula from Quantum Leap in the supermarket on our way back to the hostel!
