All Eve'd out.

Been a busy old day, but then this day always is. Up early to get on with trifles and chocolate souffles (which by the way was meant to fall... but didn't! Am pretty sure that, if it was meant to stay up, it would have fallen. Sods law).

Then down to Fife to pick up the man's mum and back home to a fish supper from the van. Felt very odd eating one tonight, a bit decadent and even rebellious, but decidedly odd.

Now that himself is ensconced in front of the tele watching the american football, I'm taking the opportunity to have a relatively early night. After all, up early again tomorrow to see to vegetables and get the bird into the oven.
