Turkey anyone?

Went to collect our turkey and Christmas veg from our local farm shop this morning - Gary says he ordered a smaller one this year but it still looks pretty huge to me! The shop was very busy but they were running it like a military operation, all the pre-orders in the barn, and a big marquee up in front of the shop (apparently they had to bolt it down yesterday, huge gusts of wind nearly made it take off!) with 2 tills going.

The veg box looks fantastic too - I think it may have to be a Christmas Dinner blip tomorrow.

Lovely relaxing day for me today, I actually slept until 8.15 am, best night's sleep I've had in ages. I don't do the cooking in our house - for reasons of health and safety ;o) - so I won't be stressed tomorrow either. Will offer to peel some sprouts later, we're going to the pub for some Christmas Eve drinks first though.
