Santa Please Stop Here!

I really do love Christmas Eve - I don't think there are the same expectations as Christmas Day and it invariably turns into a lovely day. Both children are genuinely excited by the expectation of Santa's visit and have been lovely all day. Kyra has helped in the kitchen with everything from making jelly, making pudding, peeling sprouts and emptying the dishwasher. They have both tidied and carried out every task with a spring in their step. They're now in their PJ's and should go to bed once they've watched Merlin. Think I've done most of the things I need to do so have high hopes for settling down to watch It's a Wonderful Life with a glass of fizz before bed.
