Tomorrowland

It's essentially Christmas day in Scandinavia! Merry Christmas to all, hopefully everyone is well!

A good friend came into town late last night, and today we walked all around the central city, Karl Johans Gate, Akershus Fortress, Ekeberg hill, and everywhere in between. I felt like we passed by at least 80% of my photo locations. It was fun to have to walk around the city explaining things, it made me realize in part just how much I do know and how long I've actually been here for. It used to be warm in Oslo, can you imagine!

I also realized I don't think I've put a photo up of the barcode yet. That's the fancy residential/office group of towers that are going up in the Opera district. I think they're quite nice honestly, I can't think of another city that would've handled this type of project as well as I think Oslo has. This whole area is going to look amazing in a few years as these buildings are occupied and the highway (personified here by the appalling elevated road donut) is removed.
